Runs MarketInnings Handicap

How does the match winner market work in cricket?
In a limited-overs match between team A and team B, the match winner market is the simplest. Say team A has odds of 1.65 and team B has odds of 2.30. If you place ৳1,000 on team B and team B wins, your total return is ৳2,300 (৳1,300 profit). If team A wins, you lose ৳1,000.
This is a simple illustrative example — no one can guarantee the outcome of a real match.
How to Read Odds
Betting sites display odds in three formats — decimal, fractional and American. abc8 generally uses the decimal format, but knowing all three is useful.

Team A win market: decimal 2.50 = fractional 3/2 = American +150.
A ৳500 bet on team A winning returns ৳1,250 in total (৳750 profit + ৳500 stake). If team A loses, ৳500 is gone.
Team B win market: decimal 1.80 = fractional 4/5 = American −125.
American minus odds mean you need to bet ৳125 to make ৳100 profit. A ৳500 bet returns ৳900 in total (৳400 profit).

Live In-Play Betting
Live in-play betting means placing bets while a match is in progress. In cricket this is especially engaging because odds shift instantly after every wicket or big six.
Say team A is 120 for 4 after 15 overs — at that point the odds on team B winning have lengthened. Placing a bet on team B in that situation could bring a higher return, though team A may still recover.
