Practical tips for keeping your account secure
Use a strong password
Create a password combining numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, and special characters. Never use your date of birth or easily guessable words.
Keep OTP verification on
OTP verification when logging in from each new device or unfamiliar location adds an extra layer of security. Keep your mobile number up to date at all times.
Watch out for fake sites
There may be fake sites that look exactly like abc8 and use its name. Always check the site address in the browser's URL bar before logging in.
Avoid public Wi-Fi
It is not safe to log into abc8 using public Wi-Fi at tea stalls or shopping centres. Use your own mobile data or a trusted network.
How to spot lookalike sites
Some fraudulent sites look like abc8 but have different URLs — often identifiable by letter variations (such as "ab8c" or "abc-8") or a different domain (.net, .co). Never enter your login details on such sites.
Also verify any links sent in the name of abc8 on social media carefully. If you have any doubt, type the abc8 address directly into your browser.
